The Story
We met in high school! He was interested first, but I was excited about going to college.
He asked me on a date which I snubbed off because I was more interested in hanging out with friends.
He persisted and eventually I agreed to get pizza with him on a Sunday afternoon which is the best decision I ever made. We just clicked and it meshed so well. He jokes that he fell in love at first sight, and I joke that I fell in love at first laugh. We are best friends at the core which is why I have so much faith in our relationship.
The Proposal
Our first Christmas together we got hot chocolate in Mizner Park and sat and talked for hours by the Christmas Tree. 6 years later, he proposed to me by the same Christmas Tree.
