Now, as they plan their wedding at a breathtaking historic venue, they’re crafting a day as unique as their love story.
What do we love about each other?
Kevin: What I love about Rebecca is her personality. She’s strong but hilarious. She can always get a good laugh out of me no matter what. She sweeter than candy but she can also have some spice, which just makes her so much hotter – “#HOTWIFE”. Rebecca: What do I love about Kevin? There’s truly so much I could say but there will never be enough words to say it all. I love is his capacity to always be himself. It’s one of the things I truly love about him. He isn’t afraid to be who is and he makes no apologies for it. He is the embodiment of a man secure in who is.
What do we like to do?
Kevin and I love food. We’re always seeking out new restaurants to try or even new recipes to try for later. We also love listening to audio books. I tend lean towards more towards romance while he is on the adventurous side. We also love bonding over TV shows and movies. Because of him, I finally watched Game of Thrones (after years of saying I wouldn’t) and surprise-surprise… I loved it! We also have a love for traveling. Some of our dream trips include visiting Italy, Greece, and Japan.
The proposal?
Kevin and I dated for a little over a year before he proposed. He proposed at my parents home in Georgia on Christmas Day 2023. We had gone ring shopping a few weeks before that but I was still completely taken by surprise. The proposal itself was perfect. We weren’t in fancy clothes (as a matter of fact we were still in our PJ’s), we weren’t a fancy restaurant or anything like that. Instead we celebrating a beautiful Christmas Day with my mom, dad, and our dog. With my parents and Kevin sitting on the couch, all three of them excitedly told me that there was one more present under the tree. I quickly turned around and reached back into the tree confused as to how I forgot something since there were no more gifts left. After a few seconds of searching I turned around ready to exclaim that “there wasn’t anything there.” The moment I turned around though, there was Kevin down on one knee, ring in hand, and a speech that came deep from his heart.
Our wedding.
Our wedding is going to be an intimate celebration with our closest family and friends that will be held on Saturday April 12th, 2025 at the Art and History Museums-Maitland. Kevin and I both appreciate ancient culture, so it’s only appropriate that our ceremony will be held in there outdoor Mayan chapel. In lieu of a traditional reception, we opted to host brunch a local restaurant that is near the venue. After brunch, we plan on celebrating the remainder of the day at Epcot.
