At The Heitman House, we guarantee great history, amazing views, and an incredible waterfront location for your event! We pride ourselves on our five-star cuisine, outstanding staffing, and top-notch customer service. The Heitman House is the perfect location for any type of occasion, especially weddings.
Presently owned and operated by Jeremy Zielinski and his wife, Kelly Zielinski, the Heitman House was built in 1908 as an engagement gift by Gilmer Heitman for his beloved bride. Today the Heitman House is still used in the context of love and marriage and it is still Southwest Florida’s most beautiful and romantic waterfront wedding venue. Our beautiful grounds, wrap-around porch, amazing water and sunset views combined with our outstanding food and impeccable service, provides for the most amazing venue for your wedding or other special event.
When booking with The Heitman, you will receive the following;
RENTAL OF THE VENUE
Unlimited access the day of the event starting at 9am on Saturday and 10AM Sunday- Friday. First floor of the home is open the entire duration of your event. Event timing is 5.5 hours to include ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Events Sun-Fri must end by 10 pm, Saturday 11pm.
PRIVATE BRIDAL SUITE
Located on the 2nd floor of the House includes a full bathroom with a shower for you and your bridal party to get ready before your event. With over 750 sq feet, our 3 spacious rooms have plenty of space and great lighting perfect for getting ready photos.
PRIVATE GROOM SUITE
Located on-site in the adjacent carriage home. This is open from 12pm until after cocktail hour. Includes big screen TV, kitchen, full bathroom, outside patio area, etc.
TABLES, CHAIRS, AND LINENS
We supply 60″ Round tables, white resin chairs with cushions, cocktail tables, sweetheart or bridal party head table. choice of white or ivory table linens and napkins
IN HOUSE CATERING
Full Catering and staffing which includes: dinnerware, silverware, servers, dishwashers, chef’s plus kitchen staff, along with an ice tea, lemonade, and fruit infused water self-served drinking station. Saturday is a 75 person minimum, Friday is a 60 person minimum and Sunday is a 50 person minimum. Most common menu package consists of the following:
- 3 passed Hors D’oeuvres during Cocktail Hour
- 1 Protein Entrée from our Classic Menu
- 1 Protein Entrée from our Premium Menu
- 2 side Options
- Salad
- Bread
- Water, lemonade, iced tea

EVENT COORDINATOR
Starting 2-4 weeks before your date to gather final details, build timeline, table layout and more in addition to working the day of your event.
REHEARSAL
Typically scheduled the night before (or throughout the week if an event is scheduled the day before)

- Dance floor area, thousands of bistro lights, as well as plentiful lighting throughout the property.

In-Season Pricing (Oct-April) (does not include gratuity/taxes)
Saturday- Starting at $12,825 for venue and catering minimum for 75 people
Friday- Starting at $10,700 for venue and catering minimum for 60 people
Sunday- Starting at $9,250 for venue and catering minimum for 50 people
Tuesday-Thursday- Starting at $5,500 for venue and catering minimum of 30 people
Each additional guest above the minimum is the catering price of $75 per person.
Out of Season Pricing (May/June) (does not include gratuity/taxes) We do not allow for events larger than 30 guests between July 1st and Sept 15th. We also normally close for a summer break and renovations between Aug 1st-Sept 10th
Friday or Saturday- Starting at $9250 for venue and 50 guest minimum on catering
Sunday- Starting at $8500 for venue and 40 guest minimum on catering
Tuesday-Thursday- Starting at $5500 for venue and 30 guest minimum on catering
Each additional guest above the minimum is the catering price of $75 per person.
ADD ONs
BAR Packages/Other
- Non Alcoholic bar $10 per person (all guests) includes a full bar set up with no alcoholic beverages. Dry wedding/event. This is the minimum package required.
- Cash Bar: $15 per person for those 21+ in age: Set up with liquor, beer, wine, mixers, juices, sodas, ice, glassware, and bartenders.
- Open Bar $38 per person for those 21 + in age: This is a flat fee and includes up to 4.5 hours of open bar service.
- Open Bar by the Hour- The first hour is $25 per person, second hour is $6 per person, with each additional hour charged at $4 per person, per hour for those 21 + in age. Moving to a cash bar after the first hour is included.
- Client Stocked Bar- $18 per person (all guests). We supply everything besides the alcohol.
- All of our alcoholic bar packages include Quality liquor such as Tito’s, Crown, Jack, Dewars, Bombay, Captain, as well as a selection of 3 domestic beer selections and 4 wine selections.
- Photo Booth package starting at $400 *Oh Snap photobooth
- In House Wedding Planning Services, starting at $1500
- Full DJ Package ceremony-reception starting at $850 *King entertainment
