Wedding of Mia and Johnathan at Arching Oaks Ranch!
Johnathan and I met on a dating app called Plenty of Fish. We were both going into a new season of our lives and had no idea what was in store. I had just became a single mother, and was just looking to get out of the house and feel like myself again. I messaged Johnathan first, we talked for a few weeks before deciding to meet for the first time. Our first date was the movies, we saw “Captain Marvel” and then we ate at Millers Al house. We sat down for dinner and couldn’t stop talking. We had an instant connection. That was the night I knew I had met my person. On January 1st, New Years of 2019, Johnathan asked me to be his girlfriend.
When I first met Mia, I knew she was the one I would spend forever with. Over time I fell in love with not only Mia but her son Oliver. It was only a matter of time before I was ready to ask one of the most important questions of my life, if she would marry me.
We had begun making plans for a trip to one of our favorite places, Walt Disney world.
Disney has become a very important place for us and one of our first trips we made together. I knew proposing at Disney would be symbolic to us and the start of our lives together. A month prior to our trip I went to ask Mias family for their blessing in marrying Mia. With Mia working at Jared’s, I knew her store would be the perfect place to go for her ring. We designed a custom ring for Mia and had it ready for our trip to Disney.
On September 19th of 2021 we headed out to Magic Kingdom.
I knew that Cinderella’s castle would be the perfect spot to ask the big question. I made sure Mia picked out some Minnie ears and then brought her to the castle where there was a photographer waiting. I asked Mia to marry me, She said yes!
